The Gospel According to Inside Out
May is Mental Health Awareness Month
We’ll be talking about our emotions during worship.
Inside Out follows the inner workings of the mind of Riley, a young girl who adapts to her family’s relocation as five personified emotions administer her thoughts and actions.
Book Study starting May 21st:
Unclobber by Colby Martin
“Armed with only six passages in the Bible—often known as the “Clobber Passages”—the conservative Christian position has been one that stands against the full inclusion of our LGBTQ siblings. UnClobber reexamines each of those frequently quoted passages of Scripture, alternating with author Colby Martin’s own story of being fired from an evangelical megachurch when they discovered his stance on sexuality. 2025 is our Cathedral of Hope 25th Anniversary! To celebrate, we would like to ask EACH PERSON to either… 1) make a SHORT video saying why COH is important to you, or share 1 memory from our history together, or 2) write a paragraph saying why COH is important to you/and or share a memory. If you have a photo from back in the day, send it to Pastor Kayla! We will post these on our social media sites all year long!
