Pastor is Chaplain of the Day for the State House

Today is when our Pastor, Scott Jones, will be Chaplain for the Day at the State House of Representatives.  He will be giving the invocation at the beginning of the session, which is currently scheduled for 1:30 p.m.  Rep. Al McAffrey, who invited Scott, asks that as many of our congregation as can attend the prayer do.  Rep. McAffrey believes it is a significant day – an openly gay Christian minister serving as chaplain.  Feel free to stay after the prayer or leave.
