Greetings Church!

I am writing to you from Wichita, Kanas at the Kansas-Oklahoma UCC Annual Meeting. Our connection to the wider UCC brings us support and empowerment to be the Body of Christ beyond our local community!

On Sunday, October 23, we will be having our own Annual Meeting which will be blended into our worship service at 6pm and will occur in the Community Hall instead of the sanctuary. During our meeting and worship service we will authorize next years Officers, celebrate our ministry this past year, approve our budget to empower future ministry, and vote on updates to our by-laws. Our current Officers have worked diligently to make sure these items are ready for our review.

Regarding our by-laws, we have been operating out of compliance with how they are written to govern our actions; the suggested updates would amend our bylaws to allow us the flexibility to Be Church in our current context. We will have physical copies of these proposed changes to our bylaws available at church this Sunday. If you have any questions, please contact myself or any of our Officers.
